Job Description
Role and responsibilities
-Establish good coordination and communication with Customer Onsite and Offshore teams
-Actively involve in supporting architecture decisions prepare design documents coding conduct code reviews ensure code quality compliance troubleshoot technical issues defect fixes successful build and deployments
-Actively contribute towards various Transformation initiatives (Process maturity DevOps automation Security vulnerability remediation etc.) to achieve the project goals
-Mentoring and guiding junior team members while assigning and tracking the tasks for closure without any schedule quality and cost slippages
-Develop backend components and microservices using Java Spring Boot and NodeJS for core insurance processes.
-Design and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration with frontend third-party and COTS platforms (Guidewire Salesforce etc.).
-Collaborate with frontend data QA and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end digital solutions.
-Utilize batch processing tools (Control-M JP1 Job Scheduler) for scheduled insurance operations and reporting.
Must
- 5-10 years of experience in IT industry
- Experience in Java technologies including Core Java Spring Boot NodeJS MySQL database Postgres database NPM Maven VS Code IntelliJ Idea GitHub
- Business level Japanese (N2 or above) and English skill
Nice to have
- Exposure on Agile methodology DevOps Security vulnerability management and P&C Insurance domain knowledge
- Familiarity with OpenShift containerization CI/CD (Jenkins GitHub) and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to test automation (SoapUI Postman) and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of distributed architecture microservices and Japanese insurance regulatory requirements.
