Job Description
We are currently looking for a Working Student IT-Security (m/f/d) who is eager to join our IT-Security Team at ABOUT YOU.
Our IT-Security unit is passionate about security and hacking. The team ensures that customers of our online shop and our B2B customers have a safe shopping experience and their personal data is secure with us. The Incident Response circle within the IT-Security unit is responsible for the process of incident detection response and improving the capabilities in security operations. Their goal is to create a secure environment without restricting or slowing down business processes.
What you will do:
- Respond to security-related alerts and messages from various monitoring tools
- Investigate potentially malicious events within the companys infrastructure
- Improve incident detection and response processes in the company
- Participate in various projects that the team is involved in
- Support various business units with access management requests
- Consult our colleagues regarding any security-related questions they might have
- Keep an eye on current threats and zero-day vulnerabilities in the cyber security space and implement preventative measures within the organization
Who you are:
- You are currently studying or have a background in IT-Security Computer Science IT-Administration or something similar.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English
- You can clearly communicate using email and other digital tools (e.g. Google Chat)
- You are interested in incident response blue teaming or digital forensics.
- You understand the basics of different cyber attacks computer networking.
- You are able to write scripts and programs to automate tasks in Python or Bash.
- You are familiar with Linux.
- Experience in AWS is a strong plus.
