Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Insurance) Remote
This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients answering inquiries related to Group Disability Claims and technical support. The position requires adaptability attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $24.08.
12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Monday to Friday rotating shifts.
Between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm EST.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
Communicate with plan members and sponsors in a calm professional manner.
Access and navigate multiple internal systems to locate and update information.
Research and resolve inquiries within specified timelines.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive personal information.
Offer technical support for online claims submissions including password resets and troubleshooting.
Handle both routine and sensitive customer inquiries ensuring resolution and satisfaction.
What you will need to succeed:
Post-secondary education (asset but not required).
Bilingual fluency in English and French (spoken and written) to support clients in both languages.
1 year of experience in customer service or administrative/clerical work.
Proficient computer and keyboarding skills.
Strong communication skills both oral and written.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven team player.
Ability to adapt and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Customer-focused mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams.
Knowledge of medical terminology (asset).
