Job Description
Reporting to the HSEC Manager you will be responsible for providing environmental support to the operation in line with the companys environmental management plans and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the environmental team and collaborate with HSEC operations and technical services teams
- Develop and implement environmental strategies policies and procedures aligned with organisational objectives
- Oversee the ongoing implementation maintenance and continuous improvement of the site Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Oversee environmental monitoring programs and ensure compliance with environmental permits
- Oversee the collation and timely submission of environmental information required for reporting
- Lead progressive rehabilitation of disturbed areas in accordance with PRCP requirements including topsoil management rehabilitation establishment rehabilitation maintenance and rehabilitation monitoring requirements
- Ensure site environmental events are reported investigated and appropriately controlled in line with site procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement in environment systems and processes
Qualifications :
