How Youll Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain standardized component specifications across global projects
- Collaborate with engineering teams to unify material standards and ensure compliance
- Partner with supply chain teams to define and drive material standardization
- Clarify global test methods for critical-to-quality parameters
- Provide technical support during supplier selection and product approval
- Negotiate technical requirements with suppliers for optimal quality and cost
- Stay current with advancements in component technologies and materials
- Prepare documentation and reports on component performance and standardization progress
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines
Your Background
- Bachelors degree in engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with transformer components and accessories
- Strong background in supplier technology development
- Advanced knowledge of component engineering and material specifications
- Familiarity with SAP S/4Hana and Windchill preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
