Job Description
Position Summary
Responsible for filling containers with various liquid products to fulfill customer orders. Duties include sealing containers applying labels and packaging for shipment.
Work Environment
Plant setting
Fast-paced team-oriented atmosphere
Exposure to hazardous materials
Temperature variations between 6080F
Physical Requirements
Stand bend and lift 5070 lbs regularly; occasionally move up to 100 lbs
Wear steel-toe shoes protective gloves and long-sleeve shirts daily
Strong motor coordination skills and ability to perform repetitive motions
Essential Functions
Fill containers with liquid products according to batch ticket instructions and weight specifications
Seal containers count packaged items and record on batch ticket
Transport packaged products to warehouse/shipping department
Clean empty drums tanks and other equipment
Provide input for production scheduling
Print and apply labels to products and secondary packaging (e.g. boxes)
Coordinate workflow with Labeling Station Mixing Department and Shipping Department
Follow HMIS and OSHA safety protocols
