Job Description

Position Summary
Gannon Universitys Morosky College of Health Professions and Sciences is seeking qualified adjuncts to teach in traditional areas of speech-language pathology for the graduate speech-language pathology program and the undergraduate program in communication sciences and disorders in Erie Pennsylvania. Candidates with expertise in the following advanced topics are encouraged to apply: Motor Speech Disorders Dysphagia Voice Disorders Fluency Disorders Hearing Disorders and Aural Rehabilitation. Successful candidates for teaching should have (1) have a masters degree; preferably a higher degree such as PhD Ed.D. or AuD. (2) demonstrate excellence in teaching (3) have some experience using technology in teaching and (4) must be able to support and promote the Universitys Mission. For clinical supervision candidates should have a masters in speech-language pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence ( CCC - SLP ) a minimum of one year of post-certification clinical experience and completed at least 2 hours or professional development in the area of clinical supervision/education. Candidates may have experience in adult and pediatric populations. Candidates need to submit only one application for teaching clinical supervision and/or interest in both areas. Remote teaching will be considered for undergraduate and graduate programs.

Physical Demands
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to meet the physical demands associated with a normal academic environment. WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in a normal classroom and office setting.

Required Qualifications
For teaching candidates require at least a Masters degree in the relevant discipline (Communication Sciences and Disorders Audiology or Speech-Language Pathology) with teaching or professional experience. For clinical supervision candidates must have a Masters in Speech-language pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence ( CCC - SLP ) minimum of one year post-certification experience and completed at least 2 hours or professional development in the area of clinical supervision/education

Preferred Qualifications
PhD or Ed.D. Prior experience with supervision of graduate students
