Job Description
Lead Project Engineer (PE) in Bay Area CA
We are a large mechanical contractor that specializes in Plumbing/HVAC projects in CA.
Responsibilities:
- Manage one to multiple mechanical projects (either Plumbing HVAC or both)
- Help with initial conceptual Design
- Build Estimates and get approximate costs from suppliers and calculate approximate labor costs as well
- Participate in Preconstruction and BIM-coordination meetings
- Manage Subs and coordinate project schedules and build/get approval on change orders when project is complete
Requirements:
- 3 or more years working as a Project Engineer/Project Manager for Mechanical contractor
Preferred:
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
- PE License (Mechanical)
- Skilled in AutoCAD Trane Trace HAP Carrier Autodesk Fabrication Suite TSI Quickpen MS Project Bluebeam Navisworks Revit SysQue among others
- Work on Plan/Spec and/or Design Build projects ranging in size from 200k to 40 million
