Job Summary:
Koeppel Auto Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our facilities team. The Handyman will perform a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks to keep our dealership buildings grounds and equipment in top condition. From fixing minor repairs to assisting with facility upgrades this role ensures a safe clean and well-maintained environment for our employees and customers.
KeyResponsibilities:
General Maintenance & Repairs
Perform minor repairs on plumbing electrical HVAC and other building systems.
Repair or replace doors windows locks furniture and fixtures.
Assist with installation of new equipment furniture and dealership fixtures.
Paint and touch up surfaces to maintain a professional appearance.
Building Upkeep
Inspect dealership facilities inside and out to identify and address maintenance needs.
Perform basic landscaping (mowing trimming debris removal).
Keep parking lots and walkways clear of trash snow and ice for safety.
Tool & Equipment Maintenance
Maintain and service tools equipment and vehicles used for repairs.
Report major equipment issues to the Facilities Manager.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety protocols and use protective equipment as required.
Ensure work areas are safe clean and organized to minimize hazards.
Additional Duties
Respond to work orders and service requests from dealership departments.
Assist with moving arranging and setting up furniture or equipment.
Handle urgent repair needs promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in general maintenance repairs or handyman work.
Basic knowledge of plumbing electrical carpentry and HVAC systems.
Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Reliable punctual and safety-conscious.
