Short Description:
- Maintenance Mechanic 3 is an experienced and highly skilled tradesman. This individual should have extensive knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems advanced problem-solving abilities and the capability to lead projects and mentor other Maintenance Mechanic positions. A Maintenance Mechanic 3 is responsible for overseeing complex installations repairs and maintenance of utility systems. This position assists in recommending policies procedures and objectives of all utilities equipment testing and maintenance.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the installation repair and maintenance of infrastructure systems. This includes all plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Interpret and create blueprints and building specifications for plumbing layouts.
- Collaborate with contractors electricians and other construction professionals to ensure proper installation of utility systems.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve complex plumbing problems.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior mechanics.
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Assesses equipment performance and operation appraisals of plumbing and mechanical systems to ensure appropriate preventive maintenance is provided.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
Experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare experience.
Education: Hight School Diploma
Skills and Abilities: Ability to use independent judgement diplomacy initiative ingenuity memory for details organizational skills and verbal and written communication is needed.
