These temporary/as-needed roles support the safety and security of juvenile justice facilities by helping maintain order prevent incidents and promote a safe environment for youth staff and visitors. This position is ideal for candidates who are flexible dependable and passionate about public service and youth rehabilitation.
Minimum Qualifications

Close from a Juvenile Justice Specialist 4 or higher level position.
Supervision Exercised:
None.Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Monitor entrances exits and office grounds to prevent unauthorized access
Greet and screen visitors ensuring compliance with security protocols
Assist staff in managing youth and family interactions in waiting areas or during appointments
Respond to emergencies or disturbances and notify appropriate personnel
Complete incident reports and maintain daily activity logs
Support staff during high-risk appointments or transitions
Position-Specific Details:
Work Location:This vacancy is located at the Hammond Regional Office in Hammond Louisiana.
Compensation:$18.00 per hour.
Appointment Type: This is a part-time/WAE position
