The Setup Technician will be responsible for the following:
- Performs calibration setups as needed
- Install and wire up meters for calibration
- Bolts up setup piping and meters
- Performs leak check on set ups
- Load and unload trucks
- Operates valves during calibrations
- Operates heavy equipment
- Set up piping and meters in test line
- Torques flange bolts
- Operates heavy equipment transferring piping in and out of lab
- Applies leak check solution to flanges
- Assists other departments as needed
Qualifications
High School diploma or training in a technical/mechanical trade craft field or equivalent experience. Some management training preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to record routine logs and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Email
Driving may be required for the role; therefore a valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record will be required.
