The Department of Pharmacy Practice seeks adjunct faculty member to teach and/or facilitate learning in assigned courses within the Doctor of Pharmacy program. This job posting is a pooled position. The department may accept applications throughout the academic year. However they may only reach out to interview applicants when a need to fill a course has been identified.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Facilitate activities in a variety of different learning environments using pedagogical approaches including lectures small group discussions patient or healthcare professional role play simulations and patient care discussion
Evaluate student performance and learning when applicable consistent with course requirements
Prepare and deliver class sessions to Doctor of Pharmacy and other health professional learners
Complete responsibilities of course team leaders if applicable including the above in addition to developing and managing syllabus materials coordinating course needs with departmental chair submitting grades in a timely manner per university policy and reporting student learning outcomes
Perform other related duties as assigned by either the Chair or faculty course coordinator/team leader

Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum BS degree with exceptional professional experience.
Professional experience in the field.
Preferred:
PharmD MS or equivalent terminal degree preferred.
PGY1 residency trained or equivalent practice or teaching experience
