Job Description:
The Associate/Senior Associate plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day activities of Global Business Services Record to Report Team (GBS-R2R). Following are some of the key responsibilities of the role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure robust timely and accurate information is produced in line with IFRS
Participate in the month-end process;
Ability to read and interpret financial statements - Balance Sheet P&L and identify the risk and opportunities
Ability to perform SOX testing and identify potential Control lapses
To provide Financial awareness and informed decision making across all Business segments within GFBS
To Prepare a Balance sheet reconciliation on monthly basis and highlight any open item to the Local FBS and Controllership through Open Item Tracker
Help the management with various Process Excellence and Automation projects by providing insight related to the process
Able to write the Standard Operating Procedure and Process Flow Diagrams
Assist with the preparation of Statutory Financial Statement of legal entities on a yearly basis
Client facing experience would be preferred Should be willing to work in UK Shift - 12.30 PM to 9.30 PM India Time

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in Accounting Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Management Accountant (CMA)
1-year minimum experience in a relevant field;
EXPERIENCE
Action-oriented proactive with the high level of accountability for delivering quality work
Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
