IT Business Analyst

• You contribute to our strategic IT planning by working with business stakeholders to outline the essential IT components necessary for the successful implementation of new business initiatives.

• You are the expert who turns high-level business initiatives into doable roadmaps breaking them down into tickets that our software engineers can dive into ensuring a smooth execution process.

• Thanks to your holistic understanding of the product you prudently consolidate functional and non-functional requirements from business and risk stakeholders conveying a comprehensive product understanding and ensuring alignment with our organizational goals.

• Being the go-to person for our engineersyou address product-related inquiries and make sure thattechnical and non-technical teams are on the same wavelength.

• In the same vein you team up with Customer Journey Experts and foster cross-functional cooperations bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation.

• In the nitty-gritty of project detailsyou actively participate in refinement sessions with software engineers to ensure project goals and details are well-understood facilitating a collaborative development process.

• You drive internal IT testing of newly developed and modified features including the creation of test documentation as well as support business departments during test execution.

• Last but not least your data-driven insights including definition and tracking of relevant metrics offer valuable perspectives for our strategic objectives.

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science Business Informatics or relevant experience

• Deep understanding of REST APIs and ability to execute SQL statements against relational databases to verify system behaviour

• Prior backend development experience is highly advantageous

• Profound technical understanding and experience in building technology platforms in microservice-based environments

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and proven ability to manage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders

• Passion for user-centric design and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences

• Keen understanding of market trends and emerging technologies in the financial services industry

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges effectively

• Excellent English communication skills are essential proficiency in German is a plus
