Job Description:

The Deal Desk Manager plays a critical role within the Commercial Operations group translating commercial strategy into efficient scalable deal processes. This role manages complex high-value transactions from initiation to close ensuring alignment across Sales Legal Finance and other stakeholders on contractual terms pricing compliance and financial considerations. The Deal Desk Manager also develops and enforces policies that streamline operations accelerate deal velocity and maximize profitabilitywhile serving as a trusted advisor on pricing strategies value propositions and risk mitigation.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement structured Deal Desk policies approval workflows and best practices to enable efficient deal execution.

  • Manage complex deals balancing contractual legal and financial considerations with business objectives.

  • Ensure all deal structures comply with corporate requirements and align with revenue goals.

  • Partner with Sales Finance Legal Product and leadership to resolve deal challenges and maintain seamless communication.

  • Provide strategic pricing guidance contract structure recommendations and value proposition support to drive profitability.

  • Improve operational efficiency through enhanced quote management approval processes and deal tracking.

  • Leverage analytics to monitor deal velocity pipeline accuracy and revenue forecasting recommending process improvements.

  • Maintain data integrity and scalability across CRM CPQ and ERP systems.

  • Deliver strategic insights to leadership to align Deal Desk practices with broader corporate goals.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in deal desk commercial strategy sales operations or a related function.

  • Strong financial and contractual expertise with the ability to structure analyze and optimize deals.

  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Proactive problem-solving abilities to address deal complexities.

  • Proficiency with CRM CPQ and ERP systems.

  • Track record of building scalable policies and processes that drive efficiency and growth.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking and reporting KPIs.

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $101250 and $135000. DTN is a pay for performance organization which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors including but not limited to: prior work experience training/education transferable skills business needs internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
