Job Description
- Safety & Wellbeing: Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of youth at all times.
- Daily Activity Plans: Implement lesson plans and maintain daily classroom schedules
- Support Students Growth/ Development: Support each youths social emotional and intellectual growth/development through lessons plans and interactions
- Using a variety of instructional and assessment strategies to meet individual youth needs
- Tutoring/Homework Assistance: Assisting youth with assignments or difficult concepts
- Maintaining weekly communication with parents staff and faculty regarding the progress of students.
- Transport participants when needed in a KYC owned or rented vehicle.
- Tracking attendance of the students and other clerical duties in connection with lesson plans and programming.
- Provide nutritional snacks in accordance with relevant local and state health standards for food preparation and handling and meet the standards of the National Afterschool Association
- 18 years and older
- Spanish- or Polish-speaking preferred
- Familiarity with typical electronic office equipment including networked printers and file storage equipment.
- The position will be Part-Time hourly position up to a maximum of 15 hours.
- The position hours are during the school year when the Teen REACH program runs on Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday from 2:30 to 5:30 and Wednesday from 1:30 to 5:30.
- This position ends on May 30 2026.
