  • Project Officer (Clerk Grade 7-8)
  • Training co-ordination focus
  • Temporary (up to August 2026) full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity
  • Office location is negotiable within NSW - regional location encouraged/hybrid working supported
  • Salary relative to experience and ranges from $113574 to $125720 super

About the role

National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Project Officer to work as part of a systems team and contribute towards the development and delivery of a new fire and incident management software system.

The successful candidate will also be responsible to develop co-ordinate and help deliver the new systems training program working in close consultation with a team of technical officers. The developed training program will be in line with best practise training principles and following an overarching training strategy.

About You

To be successful in securing the role you will have demonstrated:

  • experience and/or qualifications in co-ordinating and effectively delivering training programs
  • aptitude working with modern systems and technologies
  • capacity to work well within a team environment
  • ability to self-manage and to work autonomously delivering high quality results
  • experience working within an agile project management framework

Essential requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in project management.
  • Experience in development and delivery of projects including the development of project plans monitoring of project timelines budgets and reporting requirements and contract administration.
