We are looking for a full-time remote Organizational Regional Manager of Licensing to join our NYAP team!

Candidate living in Ohio preferably near Columbus Dayton Cincinnati or Newark.

Position Summary

The Organizational Regional Manager of Licensing will provide supervision and oversight of Licensing Supervisors and/or Licensing Staff in the assigned geographic regions of NYAP. The Organizational Regional Manager of Licensing will be responsible for providing ongoing coordination supervision and guidance of licensing processes and activities to ensure the licensing of diverse high-quality foster homes within a 45 to 60 day established time frame in the assigned NYAP Region.

The Organizational Regional Manager of Licensing will work with the assigned regions in the development and implementation of processes and protocols for foster home licensing from applicant to licensure as well as for pre-service training data collection and reporting via Organizational Regional Manager of Licensing will have a working knowledge of State NYAP and Council of Accreditation (COA) regulations regarding foster parent licensure certification and Organizational Regional Manager of Licensing will work under the supervision of the Associate National Director of Licensing to enhance efforts leading to the timely licensing of diverse high-quality foster parents to meet the referral needs of our NYAP communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Organizational Regional Manager of Licensing will perform duties including but not limited to:

  • Supervision of the Licensing Supervisor/Licensing staff in the assigned NYAP Region in the coordination and implementation of all foster home licensing activities.
  • Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs mission values and philosophies.
  • Promotes a positive public and internal image of NYAP on a consistent basis.
  • A working knowledge of state foster care regulations in the assigned regions as well as NYAP and COA regulations.
  • Provides oversight and guidance of all licensing activities in the assigned NYAP Region.
  • Coordination development and implementation of licensing protocols and processes to ensure licensure of diverse high-quality foster homes within the 45-60 day established time period.
  • Coordination development and implementation of licensing protocols and processes related to pre-service training certifications and recertifications.
  • Ensures all data relating to foster parent licensing is entered into the Electronic Records System.
  • Prepares required data and reports regarding foster home licensing utilizing the Electronic Records System.
  • Participates in ongoing supervision and team meetings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelorsdegree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
  • 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Relevant supervisory experience preferred.
  • A valid professional license if required by state or contract regulations.
  • Must have a valid Drivers license reliable transportation automotive insurance and a good driving record.
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers internet search people management programs smartphones and tablets printers fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing spreadsheet and database programs.

OTHER SKILLS

  • Must be open and willing to work non-traditional hours.
  • Some travel is required.
  • Must be able to embrace working as a diverse team both effectively and respectfully with persons of any background race color religion sexual orientation ability national origin or other culture.
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Must possess good verbal listening and written communication skills.
  • Must possess proficient computer skills including Microsoft Suite and NYAP specific applications.
