Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Policy Development & Implementation
- Develop implement and maintain the airlines AOSP Security Process and procedure Manual in compliance with BCAS directive and ICAO Annex 17 standards.
- Ensure alignment with the National Civil Aviation Security Programme (NCASP).
- Lead theSecurity Governance Committeeand ensure alignment with corporate risk management.
- Formulate and update internal circular SOP supplementary security procedure AVSEC SLA and assist SSH in formation of Local SOPs
- Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor and ensure compliance in collaboration with Quality control head with all BCAS directives DGCA regulations customs and immigration and Ministry of Civil Aviation guidelines .
- Act as the primary liaison with BCAS for AOSP updates Level 1 Meetings oversight mechanism and regulatory communications.
- Maintain records and documentation forPost Holder certificationand regulatory approvals
- Governance & Oversight
- Establish and maintain a Aviation Security Governance Framework to oversee implementation across departments.
- Review Internal Audits and gap analyses to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Training & Competency
- Ensure that all personnel involved in security operations are trained and certified as per BCAS standards .
- Organize refresher courses mock drills and contingency plan exercises to maintain operational readiness.
- Incident Management
- Oversee the reporting investigation and documentation of security incidents.
- Ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with airport operators security agencies and government bodies for integrated security planning.
- Represent the airline in security forums industry meetings and regulatory consultations.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive records of occurrence incident reports and policy updates.
- Submit periodic reports to BCAS and internal leadership on security performance metrics
