A DAY IN THE LIFE
Enthalpy Analytical is part of the larger organization Montrose Environmental Group is comprised of over 9 laboratories servicing air water and soil testing. Regulations drive the need for our services but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.
Our Orange CA facility is currently seeking an onsite Full-Time QA Associate II to join our Quality Assurance Department.
Pay: $36 - $42 DOE
The QA Associate II works closely with the Quality Assurance Director Group Leaders and other managers to monitor day-to-day operations and help ensure compliance to the laboratorys Quality Assurance Program.
Applicants will be passionate about providing high-quality results to laboratory clients while working with operations to develop operational efficiencies and maintain safe working conditions.
As a key member of the quality assurance team this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
Support proficiency testing and corrective action resolution
Review and update SOPs and other laboratory documentation
Maintain calibration and maintenance records for support equipment
Review bench records and logbooks for accuracy
Manage and track personnel training documentation
Assist in the develop and provide QA/QC training to laboratory staff
Identify and document nonconformances and monitor corrective actions
Analyze and interpret quality control data and trends including control charts
Plan and perform internal audits and assessments
Assist with external audit preparation and documentation
Report performance metrics to management
Archive quality-related data per SOPs
Work onsite with management teams to monitor day-to-day operations
Comply with Enthalpys Quality Assurance Program and other policies
Comply with Enthalpys Health and Safety Plan
YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
To perform this job successfully individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
Bachelors degree in biology microbiology chemistry or related sciences.
Meet the minimum requirements of the facilitys accrediting bodies.
Minimum 4 years of laboratory experience preferably in an accredited lab
Prior experience as a QA Associate I or equivalent (3 years total experience)
Understand analytical methods and relevant regulatory standards (e.g. TNI ISO 17025)
Analyze basic statistical data (i.e. mean standard deviation confidence limits)
Maintain organized records and documentation
Demonstrate professionalism discretion and sound judgment
Familiar with scientific terminology and lab operations
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel PowerPoint Word)
Communicate effectively and collaborate across teams
Support a positive inclusive and safe work environment
Preferred Experience
3 years with LIMS and working knowledge of TNI 2016 ISO 17025 GLP or DOD standards or other regulated environments
2 years in Organics especially using GC and GC/MS
