Bank Staff Nurse Oncology
Derby Hospital Nursing Bank Contract Ad hoc
Up to 30.00 per hour depending on experience

As you know Oncology nursing is challenging and rewarding and your passion will make all the difference to our cancer patients. Working flexible hours Monday to Friday youll be motivated to provide the highest standard of care.
As a Bank Staff Nurse in Oncology at our Derby Hospital youre registered with the appropriate governing body and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration including NMC. As well as post-registration experience you have experience in Oncology and a SACT (systemic anti-cancer therapies) qualification or youre working towards this.
As a Bank Oncology Staff Nurse you will:
Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service
Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments such as immunotherapy
Fully assess each patients needs providing tailored treatment plans and care
Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies
Assist consultants during clinics
Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies
Be proficient in venepuncture cannulation and the use of central venous access devices.

The Nuffield Health DerbyHospital is a modern purpose-built hospital with 38 en-suite beds three operating theatres and together with a comprehensive range of outpatient services.
The Radiology department is a small but busy department covering general radiographic procedures theatre ultrasound MRI and CT. Set in beautiful grounds were about 3 miles from the city centre within easy reach of all major roads and bus routes.
