We are looking for a Sheet Metal Shop Helper to join our team. This position will also double as delivery driver.
Job duties:
- Fabrication assembly and delivery of sheet metal ductwork fittings and supplies cleaning organizing.
- Safely setting up and operating fabricating machines.
- Cut bend straighten and insulate sheet metal duct and fittings.
- Operate spot-welding euipment to join sheet metal parts.
- Use hammers and hand tools to fabricate and assemble HVAC ductwork and fittings.
- Delivery to job sites.
- Cleaning and organizing the shop and plant facilities.
- Drive box trucks and pull trailers.
- Lifting materials up to 70lbs.
- Other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Have a good driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Possess a valid drivers license.
- Sheet metal experience preferred but not required.
