Essential Functions:- Supervises staff assigned to the work unit and monitors employees productivity and quality.
- Ensures proper staffing levels are maintained.
- Develops and implements scheduling policies and procedures.
- Resolves scheduling conflicts and issues.
- Provides training and guidance to scheduling staff.

- Working knowledge of mainframe admitting and billing computer systems.
- Understanding of a managed care environment and its impact on the hospitals bottom line.
- Strong professional demeanor with the inherent quality to rapidly establish credibility and rapport with clinicians managers and external groups.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for process improvement identify solutions plan for and implement those same solutions.
Experience:- Management and healthcare experience required.
- Nursing/clinical experience preferred.
- Two years experience managing staff preferred.
