Cleaning and Sanitation Professional Position Overview:
PlanITROI is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Cleaning & Sanitation Professional to ensure our manufacturing facility is kept clean safe and compliant with health safety and environmental standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a productive and healthy work environment by performing thorough cleaning sanitation and waste management in production areas common spaces and offices. This role reports to the Director of Operations.
Full-Time: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of manufacturing floors production equipment exteriors break room restrooms offices and common areas.
- Sweep mop vacuum dust and disinfect surfaces following facility cleaning protocols.
- Remove trash recycling and production waste safely and promptly.
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums.
- Replenish supplies (paper towels soap sanitizer cleaning products etc.) as needed.
- Follow strict safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain cleaning logs and ensure compliance with OSHA EPA and facility sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to minimize disruption during cleaning activities.
- Identify and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Manage deep cleaning projects and seasonal sanitation tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial industrial or manufacturing facility cleaning is needed.
- Familiarity with sanitation protocols and safe chemical handling.
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Physical ability to stand bend lift and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
Work Environment
- Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise dust and temperature fluctuations.
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves safety glasses and masks.
- Standing and walking for most of the shift; lifting to 50 lbs. occasionally.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $15.00-$16.00 per offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance a 401(k) with company match paid time off and more. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity at all levels of the organization.
