Job Description
We are insearch of an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support our skilled nursing/rehabilitationpatients and long term care residents on the Cove a 60-bedskilled unit located within the Kroontje Health Care Center. Working inconcert with the buildings Administrator and the Director of Nursing the ADON is chargedwith ensuring the safety comfort and satisfaction of the Cove residentsaround their nursing care and living addition the ADON will work directly withthe Director of Nursing on matters of healthcare oversight including auditsin order to maintain the buildings compliance with state and federalregulations.
The ADON will also collaborate with the Administrator and the Director of Nursing to set goalsimplement action plans and measure the success of those actions overtime. This positionwill be critical to both the day-to-day operations in the Cove and to the units long-termsuccess. This role does serve in arotating weekend call schedule with the buildings nursing leadership team.
Salary is competitive. We also offer a robust benefits package. FT employees earn four weeks of PTO per year and have access to 5 days (40 hours) of PTO upon addition we offer free meals for each shift that you work and access to our gorgeous state-of-the-art fitness center and saltwater pool.

Requirements:
- An active and valid RN license inthe state of Virginia
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in caring for adultswithin a group care setting
