Job Description
Wurzak Hotel Group (WHG) is currently seeking a Director of Talent and Culture for the following locations:
Sheraton Hotel in Reston VA
We are seeking a goal-oriented leader thats a champion of both employee experience and guest satisfaction. As a key member of the property leadership team the Director will oversee the hotels Human Resources functions including talent acquisition employee experience and HR operations/compliance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work as a strategic partner with hotel management to plan out employee teams who add to the culture
- Recruit team members that enhance our culture of service and thrive on creating great moments for guests
- Ensure compliance with state federal and local laws
- Manage the employee hello-to-goodbye cycle
- Lead employee experience programs: culture committee employee development and recognition
- Handle benefits and open enrollment for assigned locations
- Serve as a resource for employees to answer questions and support their success
- Facilitate related training and development programs as needed
Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in a field relevant to Human Resources
- 10 years of experience in a progressive Human Resources role
- Experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- PHR SHRM-CP or equivalent HR certification preferred
