CAE Manager

Position: Manager CAE Hybrid

Expected to work onsite three days a week in Valley City OH. Typically Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday.

The Job:

As a CAE Manager youll be part of our CAE team working as a hybrid employee. Youll get to:

• Lead mentor and develop a team of CAE engineers fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the selection implementation and maintenance of CAE software tools and hardware infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product design R&D testing and manufacturing teams to integrate CAE processes into the product development lifecycle.
• Plan assign and review simulation and analysis projects ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
• Develop and implement best practices standard operating procedures and guidelines for CAE activities.
• Ensure that all CAE work complies with relevant industry standards regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Analyze complex engineering problems using simulation tools (such as FEA CFD and multi-physics platforms) and provide actionable insights.
• Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders including engineers managers and executives.
• Drive the adoption of new CAE technologies and methodologies to enhance productivity and product performance.
• Manage budgets resources and vendor relationships related to CAE activities.

The Person:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in CAE with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Expertise in simulation tools such as ANSYS Abaqus HyperWorks NASTRAN or similar.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles product development processes and simulation methodologies (FEA CFD etc.).
• Proven project management skills and experience handling multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
