The Records Management & Disclosures Team support both the Safe & Caring Communities and Together for Families Directorates providing specialist records management and disclosure guidance and advice.
The Role:
The Records Management and Disclosures Team process case manage and formally responds to all (but not limited to) statutory information obligations placed upon the Together for Families and Safe & Caring Communities directorates as per Rights of Access in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Data Protection Act 2018 and any other statutory obligations within the access to information umbrella.
The team also provide a comprehensive and efficient integrated records management support to services within Together for Families and Safe & Caring Communities.
The role holder will build and maintaining vital working relations with those that the team support. The role will deal directly with and be point of contact for Officers partners and colleagues.
This position will be subject to a standard criminal record disclosure check.
Working Pattern:
This part-time role is for three days per week Monday to Friday with the ability to flex working hours around core times.
This role is based at our Bodmin office and has the option for home working when attendance at the office is not required.
What youll need to succeed:
You will be able to demonstrate well-developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues to stakeholders in a clear concise and understandable way and experience of dealing with challenging and or emotive situations.
Experience in the area of records management subject access requests and information disclosures and dealing with customers (internal and external) and other stakeholders are a must.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills the ability to prioritise workload and meet conflicting deadlines whilst applying a common-sense ability and approach to complex and sometimes high-pressure situations.
