Role: Permanent Full-Time 35 Hours per week.
Closing date: September 8 2025
Salary: Starting salary range $77950 - $83389. *This represents the first three steps in a seven-step salary grid. Candidate experience will be considered when determining the starting salary.

The Hybrid Work Plan developed for this role presently requires this position to work in a combination of work from home work on site and work in the community with equipment provided by CMHA. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to discuss this arrangement with the program manager. The successful candidate will be required to travel within York Region & South Simcoe for client meetings and staff training or other meetings.
The Clinical Supervisor for the ACTT-SE Program will work from the Markham Office located at 3601 Highway 7 East Suite 710.
Job Profile:
The Clinical Supervisor is a key member of the programs leadership team responsible for client care and service quality. Reporting to the Director of Services and working closely with the Manager the Clinical Supervisor leads clinical supervision supports high-quality care planning and ensures efficient client flow including referral and waitlist management.
Using a recovery-based harm reduction anti-oppressive approach grounded in the social determinants of health the Clinical Supervisor provides guidance to multidisciplinary teams and supports staff through coaching capacity-building and case consultation.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise all aspects of clinical care and ensure quality service delivery
Lead care pathways and clinical team meetings
Provide clinical supervision (case reviews ethical guidance support on complex client issues)
Manage team schedules waitlists and referrals
Collaborate with internal leadership on service improvement initiatives
May carry a small caseload to support clinical operations
Liaise with hospitals psychiatrists and external service providers
Support recruitment onboarding training and performance development
Promote a collaborative communicative and safe team environment
Ensure adherence to organizational policies provincial laws and professional standards

Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge of clinical work complexities diverse client populations and caregiver issues
Knowledge of the Ontario Mental Health Act Substitute Decisions Act Health Care Consent Act PHIPA and mental health reform principles
Strong understanding of mental health dual diagnosis systems theory and recovery-oriented practices
Familiar with formal/informal community resources and supports in York Region
Awareness of systemic issues (poverty stigma unemployment) affecting clients and families
Knowledge of functional abilities and mental status assessments
Ability to apply Recovery principles and empowerment-based practices
Excellent clinical judgment communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving conflict resolution and group facilitation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
Ability to foster inclusive respectful spaces where all voices are valued
This position reports to and is supervised by: Manager People and Team.
