The Hospital Medicine Program at Sentara Obici Hospital is a well-established and robust service managing an average daily patient census of 70100. The program is supported by a dedicated team of 14 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers (APPs)
Our teams are dedicated to cultivating an environment where every individual feels recognized appreciated and supported enabling them to perform at their best for themselves and our patients. Our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are essential to this foundation and we seek to continue to grow their impact and scope of practice throughout our hospitals.
