Job Description
Job Title: Slip Sheet Forklift Operator
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Shift Pattern: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on rotation (every other weekend required)
Location:Goodyear AZ
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Slip Sheet Forklift Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating slip sheet forklifts to load unload and move materials throughout the facility while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate slip sheet forklift to load and unload trucks stage materials and move products in warehouse or production areas.
Safely handle and transport materials without pallets using slip sheets.
Inspect forklift before and after each use; report any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
Maintain accurate inventory movements and follow shipping/receiving documentation.
Work closely with warehouse and production teams to meet operational needs.
Follow all safety protocols OSHA standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience operating a slip sheet forklift (required).
Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
Ability to work a 12-hour shift with rotating schedule including every other weekend.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged standing bending and operating equipment in warehouse environment.
