As our FP&A Reporting & Consolidation Senior Analyst you will be instrumental in supporting Monzos growth aspirations and ensuring we meet our P&L commitments. This role involves partnering with various business units to analyse the performance of our products across different geographies. The ideal candidate will be adept at both detailed data analysis and strategic big-picture thinking and comfortable supporting new business initiatives.
Youll play a key role by
- Oversee all forecasting and analysis for Monzo Group including the annual budget interim forecasts and multi-year plans.
- Prepare management information insights and reports for the senior leadership team identifying emerging issues and potential future challenges.
- Support the development of strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Independently build relationships and collaborate across the business to provide financial perspectives.
- Ensure financial management aligns with both short-term and long-term business plans.

- Have demonstrable experience in financial consolidation and reporting particularly working with senior leaders.
- Are qualified through a relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience.
- Hold strong financial modelling (advanced Excel/Google Sheets) experience.
- Have great analytical & problem solving skills with the ability to identify trends issues and recommend actions.
- Hold good interpersonal & influencing skills ability to engage across various internal functions to develop get buy-in and deliver outcomes across teams.
- Have the ability to confidently present data in a meaningful and effective way; understanding the needs of the end users and tailoring presentations to their requirements.
- Have experience building strong trusted relationships with stakeholders.
- Have experience building business cases presenting and debating investment choices.
- Demonstrate ability to be hands-on and enjoy supporting colleagues projects or tasks both big or small.
- Have strong attention to detail and organisational skills able to support with developing new processes and streamlining existing processes to create efficiencies.

This role can be based is based in our London office. Were also open to distributed working within the UK (with the expectation of 1-2 days weekly working from our London office).
