Job Description
A growing company in the logistics space is looking for a Finance Support Specialist to join their dynamic team and report to the Financial Director. If you thrive on reconciliations invoicing and all things accounting this could be your next big move. Bring your experience precision and energy and lets keep the numbers on track!
Conduct daily bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
Finalize month-end reconciliations for operational expenses and bank charges
Post bank transactions and support the monthly close of financial periods
Prepare and distribute debtor statements resolving payment-related queries
Reconcile creditor accounts resolve discrepancies and prepare reconciliations for review and approval
Accurately complete creditor application documentation
Load and schedule payments for approval ensuring timely processing
Generate and issue daily invoices
Manage travel bookings and perform associated administrative tasks
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 35 years experience in a similar finance role
Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
Experience with accounting software (CargoWise a plus)
Knowledge of debtor/creditor processes and reconciliations
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Qualification:
Completed Matric
Diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance
