Job Description
Position Title: Junior LPR Analyst
Reports To: ITOC Manager
Location: FSG Head Office Helderkruin
Position Overview:
The Junior LPR Analyst plays a key role in the strategic deployment maintenance of databases and monitoring of License Plate Recognition (LPR) camera systems to assist in crime prevention detection and operational success. This role requires a focused driven individual who can operate both independently and within a team while maintaining a high attention to detail under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate LPR systems to monitor analyse and escalate relevant information to the SAPS and response teams (both internally and externally).
- Strategically use LPR camera data to support investigations and arrests.
- Conduct ongoing monitoring and analysis of vehicle movements and suspect activity.
- Prepare reports and provide real-time feedback to operational teams.
- Meticulously gather and store information to aid in investigations and prosecution.
- Assist in maintaining the integrity of LPR-related data.
- Audit and maintain LPR databases across various platforms.
- Network within the industry to build intelligence and operational relationships.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure effective information flow.
Minimum Requirements:
- PSIRA Grade A certification.
- Strong task orientation with a results-driven approach.

Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in the use and management of LPR-related systems.
- Previous experience as an analyst.
- Experience within the law enforcement or private security environment.
