Job Description
An esteemed engineering consultancy is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join its team in Johannesburg contributing to the delivery of world-class data centre substation infrastructure projects.
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (B Eng / BSc Eng / B Tech Eng).
- Professional registration (Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng with ECSA).
- 810 years post-graduate experience in electrical engineering with emphasis on high-voltage infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of PMBOK-aligned project management processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office MS Projects and familiarity with software like Digsilent and PLS-CADD is advantageous.
- Experience working with Eskom and municipal authorities is beneficial.
- Lead the design implementation and management of high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems (11 kV to 400 kV) from concept through to commissioning.
