Job Description
- Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
- Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of financial reports from various business units.
- Oversee and manage the general ledger ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Perform regular reconciliations of accounts resolving any discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget identifying and explaining variances.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions ensuring timely processing and payment of invoices.
- Monitor aging reports and manage collections to optimize cash flow.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Pastel) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
