About the Company
Our client is a well-established logistics support company based in Benoni. They work with major players in the freight and transport sector offering customised services to support compliance and efficiency on the road. Youll be responsible for operating mobile truck and trailer scales at client sites accurately capturing weight data and supporting the team with driving and general office duties when not out in the field. This is not a desk jobits a hands-on role that requires initiative attention to detail and a strong team spirit.Key Responsibilities
- Travel to client sites using the company vehicle to conduct truck/trailer weighing using mobile scale equipment.
- Accurately record weighing data into provided Word templates.
- Ensure proper handling and calibration of mobile scale equipment.
- Act as a driver for ad hoc duties and site visits as requested.
- Provide general assistance at the office during quieter periods.
- Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively when interacting with clients.
- Undertake long-distance travel when required (accommodation and meals covered by the client).
Requirements
- Matric (essential).
- Valid SA Drivers Licence (essential).
- Own reliable transport to get to work (Benoni-based).
- Basic computer literacy (Word proficiency required).
- Willingness to travel and assist in multiple areas of the business.
- Strong work ethic team player attitude and a proactive level-headed personality.
