Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager for a renowned luxury restaurant group based in the Knysna/George area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong leadership abilities and a passion for exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily restaurant operations ensuring smooth and efficient service
Deliver an exceptional guest experience with consistent high standards
Provide strong leadership on the floor and lead by example
Manage financial aspects of the business including budgeting and cost control
Develop and implement operational procedures to increase efficiency
Motivate develop and grow the team both individually and as a unit
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Handle pressure effectively and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
Proven experience in a General Manager or similar leadership role within the luxury restaurant or hospitality industry
Strong floor management skills and ability to lead a team effectively
Sound financial acumen with experience in budgeting reporting and cost control
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Highly organised driven and results-oriented
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings weekends and public holidays as required
