Job Description
- Design and develop systems that boost business productivity and profitability
- Develop and maintain high-availability services and applications for ATM networks
- Drive technological innovation to support growth and leadership in the ATM deployment space
- Write test and improve both existing and new software systems
- Manage and enhance ATM monitoring software and back-end infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve software issues ensuring optimal performance
- Evaluate implement and integrate new technologies into products and services
- Collaborate with internal and external IT specialists
- Provide training support and comprehensive documentation for all developed systems
- Ensure that system redundancy and backups are in place
- Lead and manage software and infrastructure-related projects
- Configure and improve system hardware networks and communication layers
- Respond to critical business issues with urgency and insight
- Proactively identify process and system improvement opportunities
- Act as a technical expert and provide scalable cost-effective solutions
- Promote the use of industry best practices across projects
Professional Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate
- Relevant IT Degree (e.g. BEng and BSc) or equivalent qualification
- Experience with C Python or Golang (required)
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging is beneficial
- Web development experience in Django or JavaScript and database experience with MySQL is advantageous
- Prior EFT/switching development experience (3 years) is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
