Job Description

Asset Manager
Location: Cape Town South Africa
Sector: Renewable Energy (IPP)
Type: Full-Time On-Site

Overview:
A leading renewable energy company is hiring an Asset Manager to oversee the financial and operational performance of utility-scale energy projects from construction to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full project accounting: invoicing reconciliations asset & loan registers accruals and tax entries.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and coordinate audits.

  • Support tax compliance (VAT PAYE WHT) and review statutory returns.

  • Monitor cashflow budgets and debt service schedules.

  • Oversee compliance across PPA EPC O&M and regulatory contracts.

  • Provide financial insights to support internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance Accounting or related field; CA/CPA preferred.

  • 3 5 years experience in project finance or asset management.

  • Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge.

  • Prior exposure to renewable energy or infrastructure preferred.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Language:

  • Fluent English required.
