This is a brilliant opportunity for an Operations Lead in the wealth management or LISP space to take complete ownership of investment tax reporting processes for South Africas most prestigious wealth management company.
This Operations Lead role is Cape Town-based with a CTC of R13 million per annum.

THE ROLE
As Operations Lead you will be responsible for driving the design and execution of investment tax reporting processes across the companys LISP offshore funds and private client platformswith a core focus on building robust data testing frameworks that ensure tax reporting accuracy.
You will lead the development of data validation protocols run systematic testing of IT3(b) IT3(c) IRP5 and CGT outputs and proactively detect anomalies in tax-related data. Working closely with platform operations tax specialists and developers youll design test plans validate complex corporate action processing and oversee the remediation of data integrity issues across multiple reporting regimes.
In addition you will own compliance deliverables including FATCA CRS and U.S. QI (1042-S/1099) filings ensuring upstream data quality supports regulatory accuracy.
REQUIREMENTS
BCom accounting finance investment or a related field
Extensive investment tax reporting experience including IT3(b) IT3(c) IRP5 CGT FATCA CRS and QI filings
LISP products & underlying tax structures (RAs LAs endowments discretionary investments etc)
Strong data testing skills designing & executing test plans identifying anomalies and ensuring end-to-end data integrity
SQL & advanced Excel knowledge
