Job Description
Introduction
Our client is looking for an Associate to join the investment team performing deal transacting duties across the entire value chain of the investment process. The individual will report to the partners and principal of the fund supporting the team in terms of conducting financial analysis research and duediligence for investment activities and portfolio monitoring.

Requirements include:
- CA (SA) / CFA / MBA / Business Science / BSc or Other Relevant undergraduate degree
- Minimum 4 years post articles/traineeship relevant experience (Associate level)
- Proficient in financial modelling data analysis and valuation techniques
- Basic knowledge of key commercial statutes and regulations (Tax Companies Act)
- Motivated and driven selfstarter
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Leverages networks for deal sourcing opportunities
- Strong proven communication skills
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to conceptualise complex information
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strategic thinking strong judgement and decision making
