Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie for a luxury game lodge situated in the prestigious Sabi Sands region. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and creative culinary professional to join a highend hospitality team in one of South Africa s top safari destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present highquality dishes in line with lodge standards
Contribute to menu planning incorporating seasonal and locally sourced produce
Ensure consistent taste quality and visual presentation of all meals
Support the Head Chef and kitchen team in daily operations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment
Assist with mentoring junior kitchen staff and uphold food safety practices
Candidate Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role within a luxury lodge or hospitality environment
Recognised culinary qualification
Strong knowledge of contemporary cooking techniques and food trends
Creative flair with a keen eye for food styling and presentation
Excellent taste and flavour pairing expertise
Fluent in English both written and spoken
Own transport and residence in the local area essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced kitchen
