Job Description

Statistical Technician

Minimum Requirements
  • Education:

    • Technical National Higher Diploma in Engineering
    • Six Sigma (Yellow Belt)
  • Experience:

    • 23 years in a Quality/Process/Statistical environment
Advantageous Requirements
  • Education:

    • BTech or equivalent in Statistics
    • Six Sigma (Green Belt)
  • Experience:

    • 35 years in a Quality/Process/Statistical environment
Key Responsibilities
Data Mining
  • Write macros to stage charts for monitoring defects process and product indicators from Excel SAP Shopware and Adroit databases.
  • Utilize statistical techniques to determine outofcontrol processes.
  • Compute data efficiently and effectively into statistical graphical representations.
Continual Improvement
  • Provide support for Six Sigma projects focusing on data analysis needs.
  • Assist with all Measurement System Analyses to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Interpret data to easily identify areas requiring improvement.
Calibration
  • Take ownership of the calibration process.
  • Utilize Shopware effectively to identify when gauges are due for service.
  • Manage service records to ensure integrity and traceability of information.
  • Ensure zero product defects are manufactured due to uncalibrated test equipment.
