Duties & Responsibilities
Our client is a leading player in the high-tech laboratory infrastructure space. They design supply and implement critical systems used in medical research pharmaceutical and healthcare environments. Their focus is delivering turnkey HVAC and cleanroom solutions to some of the most advanced facilities across South Africa and neighbouring regions.
As the Mechanical Engineer youll be responsible for the full HVAC design lifecyclefrom conceptual layouts to commissioningin specialist environments like laboratories clinics and cold rooms. Youll ensure that all solutions meet national and international standards coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and deliver technically sound and compliant systems for temperature airflow and air purity control.
Requirements:
BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering
ECSA professional registration (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) is a must
Minimum 5 years HVAC experience in laboratory cleanroom or clinical facility environments
Strong knowledge of cold room systems and cleanroom HVAC standards
Ability to lead projects from design to implementation including working with contractors and consultants
