Job Description
As a Section Engineer Production you will ensure the effective and safe movement of men ore and material in the vertical/decline/horizontal shaft/haulage/plant operation of the Concentrator Plant and the associated maintenance and construction linked to the Operational Area of responsibility.
- Approved monthly budget expenditure
- Planned maintenance priorities
- Allocation of resources within section
- Setting daily weekly and monthly technical targets
- Approval of sections leave rosters
- Shutting down the section
- Disciplining of employees to agreed parameters and procedures
- Shaft schedules
- Planned Maintenance Schedules
This role is at a Band 6 level reporting to the Section Engineering Manager
Qualifications :
- Engineering related degree (BSc Engineering/Diploma/BTech)
- Government Certificate of Competency (Mines and Works)
Experience required:
- 5 years post Engineering qualification experience
- If successful you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness Certification.
- Basic Computer Literacy
