Job Description
- Contribute practical knowledge and insights during Product Backlog Refinement (PBR) and Sprint planning to ensure well-defined and feasible work items.
- Contribute to drafting and maintaining detailed test plans test cases and automated regression scripts for continuous system validation.
- Participate in the UAT handover process to business teams providing support and coordination alongside Business Analysts and Junior Test Analysts.
- Facilitate and engage in technical and functional walkthrough sessions for team and stakeholder alignment.
- Work cross-functionally with Development and Business Analysis teams to ensure seamless delivery throughout the software development lifecycle including critical maintenance releases.
- Actively participate in all relevant Agile ceremonies (e.g. daily stand-ups Product Backlog Refinement Sprints etc.)
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development actively seeking opportunities to upskill to an intermediate level.
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
- Familiarity with Life Insurance processes and regulations would be highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with performance and security testing tools such as Pilotfish and Hyphen and proficiency in Postman.
- Proficient in using Postman for API testing and JIRA for bug and project tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to perform thorough regression testing utilizing tools like Scribe to ensure software stability and quality across releases.
