Job Description
This information technology job involves designing developing and maintaining robust data warehousing and BI solutions to support strategic business decisions. Youll collaborate closely with business users to translate briefs into technical requirements model data and reports and optimize batch processing and scheduling. Key responsibilities include mentoring an intern ensuring scalable ETL processes and maintaining highquality documentation. The role is mostly officebased in Cape Town CBD (core hours 9:302:30) and up to 13 hours of WFH weekly postprobation.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in data warehousing and/or ETL processes ideally in retail systems
Strong architectural mindset with expertise in data and report modeling
Proficient in batch processing and scheduling for efficient data workflows
Proven ability to document technical requirements from business brief
Skilled at building and maintaining relationships with business users
Energetic passionate and collaborative with a commitment to sharing knowledge
Retail industry experience is highly advantageous
No job hoppers; stable career history is essential
Qualification:
BSc or in Information Systems IT/IS Diploma or substantial experience in a Data Warehousing/BI environment (highly advantageous)
