Job Description

Hire Resolves Client a great mining company in Gauteng is currently looking for a skilled Principal Mining Engineer Open Pit to join their mining team.

:
  • Bachelors Degree in Mine Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 15 years of experience in open pit mining across operations corporate engineering consulting and major project studies.
  • Professional certification or registration or in process of obtaining as a Chartered Engineer or equivalent in mining engineering.
  • Proven track record in delivering advanced mining studies (PFS and Feasibility Studies) to an industryleading standard.
  • Extensive expertise in strategic planning cutoff grade optimization mine design scheduling and pit optimization.
  • Proficiency in mining software applications including Deswik and Whittle.
  • High degree of technical open pit mining expertise and business acumen.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with others in a technical teambased environment.
  • English language proficiency (Bilingual in French is an advantage).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead teams across different operational and corporate environments
